Martin Vrolijk

If you were in charge of sports what would you do to stop cheating and unsportsmanlike behavior or wouldn't you stop it?

I would let the rules stay the same because it is all part of the game. Cheating, unfairness and unsportsmanlike behavior is all part of football and other games. In my opinion it's what makes the game interesting and each player different. So no, I would not stop any of it.

What kind of personality/traits do you think many people who don't play by the rules have in common? Do you have any ideas why you think these people would do these things?

In my opinion anyone, it is not down to traits or characteristics. You cannot know what kind of player will react like in each situation. Many people are too passionate and throw themselves into the game half blind not knowing the consequence, in other words they sometimes don't think using their head because the player cannot handle the situation they are in.

Have you ever played unfair and not by the rules? If yes why?

I have played quiet often not following the rules but have always been honest. To get things done in sport sometimes you have to take risks and sometimes they go wrong but I have always tried to control myself on the field and tried to do what if the best for my team even if it means having to take the risk of getting a yellow card for example.

Do you play with your emotion of the field or whenever you play a competitive sport? If so, Why?

Yes I play with my emotion all the time, I try and control them so they don't get the better of me and get me sent off but in my opinion football and any other sport should be played with emotions otherwise there is no passion.
